Sunday’s headline was intentionally misleading. In fact, DJT paid $1M in 2016 and $4.2M in 2017; and this was even reported in the story. Hey NYT, cognitive dissonance much?

The story neglected to mention a few things:

• He has employed lots of people and invested lots of $ in America’s economy.

• He left his career as an entrepreneur/developer behind and donates his entire annual $400K presidential salary.

• In real estate, tax losses are normal (expenses are current; gains are deferred until you sell).

• He’s not a career politician who (a) collected a taxpayer-funded salary his whole life, (b) used public office as cover to run a corruption racket and (c) never built a thing or did an honest day’s work.

• Leaking any citizen’s tax info to the media is illegal.

p.s. These hatchet jobs always backfire on the libs. They don’t seem to care. They’ve gone scorched-earth on us, so anything goes as long as they’re starting another fire. They destroy themselves in the process, but I guess that’s how the nihilism/derangement syndrome thing works.
